PARTNERSHIP WITH ARIZONA TILE
Ahh, pinch me. I never thought this would be in our plans when I made my house project list. But after doing some research, we learned the true cost of a kitchen renovation that made saving so much more achievable. I feel like people do not talk about costs of things as much as we should. Learning costs help you save and make it happen!
When we were shopping for countertop material, we stopped by Arizona Tile to check out their selection and were in love immediately with the Everest Quartz from the Della Terra Quartz Collection. They make the process super easy with their showroom and even their clearance yard!
Here’s the cost breakdown:
- Countertop material from Arizona Tile- retails at $1,664 per Everest Quartz Slab from Della Terra Quartz Collection (we got 2 total slabs)
- Countertop fabrication + installation (seperate from Arizona Tile) – $19/sq ft, so $2,200 total (we worked with Fernando from New Generation Granite & Marble in PHX!)
- Total: $5528
If you are lucky enough to snag a discounted slab here, Arizona Tile Clearance Yard (across the street from their Tempe showroom: 1235 W Greentree Dr, Tempe, AZ 85284) is the place to check out first! We saw the Everest slab there for $700 a slab, but they were all sold out. There’s a ton of selection there since it’s over-ordered or discontinued product, plus a sustainable option since they need a home anyway 🙂
So happy with the results! The quartz has held up super well, I was worried at first with the white but was proved quickly that this is super strong and does not hold stains. Would love to change our bottom cabinets one day, working with the existing shaker cabinets the previous seller installed when we purchased the home. But the new countertops are exactly what we needed!
